The Fishermen by Jim Demetro and Christina Demetro
for PV’s 100th year municipality anniversary in 2018:

The sculpture gets its name, Andale Bernado, from the boys urging the burro along – “Andale” – and “Bernado,” the name of the burro that posed for the sculptor. Demetro has designed this sculpture to be interactive. Kids can climb on the burro’s back to have their picture taken. (See below.) Smaller versions of Andale Bernado (pictured below) are available for purchase. ![]() ![]() |

Close up details of the Journey of Hope:
The Spirit of America Memorial is a dramatic tribute to the 9/11 tragedy with a circle of life-size bronze statues holding hands, facing outwards, where one part of the circle is open to allow the public to interact with the monument. Visitors can also inspect rare rubble artifacts from the Pentagon and metal from the former World Trade Center Twin Towers.
